HIGHLIGHTS FOR 2024
FY 2024 results showed that revenues declined by 2% while expenses rose by 4% over 2023. Donations were down 2% for 2024 over 2023 which was offset by an increase in our year-end surplus of nearly 7%.
While total assets rose 6% to $198,300, accounts payable were reduced by 4% resulting in the Company gaining a 9% increase in equity.
The net cost per bird per day in the sanctuary rose to $2.07 with food accounting for 23% of that and facilities just over 35%. The population remained virtually static at 61 during the 2024 year.
